E-Portfolios, Reflection and Student-Centered Learning

If students are going to take ownership of their learning, we’re going to need to build reflection into the system. Perhaps e-Portfolios are a way to achieve this. Here’s a blog comment that reminded me of some practical, institutional hurdles we have yet to conquer.

And we continue to create Learner Management Systems where ALL the content goes away at the end of the semester — there’s a very powerful lesson here that we keep not learning.
