Wow! Just in time for a presentation I gave today, where in a change from my usual style most of my slides heavy on graphics, light on words, and without bullet points. Seemed to go well, and a couple of people were even kind enough to comment on how good they thought the slides were… So it does make a difference! 😉 I’m going to be doing it this way more often (although sometimes the bullets are useful cues (crutches?))!
Yes, he’s great. And I would also recommend a new book Slideology by Nancy Duarte who worked on Al Gore’s award winning presentation http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596522346/.
The two are contemporaries and share much of the same philosophy (and quote each other in their books). There’s also a website related to the book http://slideology.com/.
